When Carlos a wealthy Spaniard living in Miami found out that his brother did not have long to live, he made plans to bring his brother's daughter Maria to America to be with him. Unfortunately, the daughter would not leave without her husband Louis Gomez, who was a political prison on the island of Esportano, which is located in the Caribbean. Therefore, Carlos decided to get in touch with a mercenary Martial Arts expert who called himself the Warrior. The Warrior took the job. However, around the prison, there was a minefield he must cross, which was put down by El Scorpion, the meanest warden in the western hemisphere. The Warrior must not cause an international incident in order to get Maria's husband out of prison. His plan was to cross the minefield at night, use no weapons to get into the prison, find Gomez among a thousand prisoners, get him out safely before daybreak and accomplish his mission in less than seven hours. When General Alfredo, the island dictator learned that Gomez had escaped, he threatened El Scorpion with severe punishment if he did not get his political prisoner back within twelve hours. The frightened El Scorpion got a group of his prison guards to go after the Warrior and Gomez.
